Our Story
CUFC Started in Commonwealth. It Won’t Stop There.
CUFC started with one standard: coach the game properly, from the first touch, and make sure a child’s background never decides whether they get the chance to learn it. That standard hasn’t moved. What’s grown is everything around it — more age groups, more players, a competitive record across Metro Manila’s biggest youth tournaments, and a scholarship program that now supports 34 players and counting.
We train boys and girls, beginners through competitive players, at Commonwealth and BF Homes. Every player starts somewhere. Where they finish is the point.
“The strongest foundations are built long before anyone is keeping score.”
Our Mission
To build a football community where every child — regardless of background — has access to structured training, character-building experience, and a genuine pathway to grow through the game.
Where We’re Going
CUFC is building toward 100+ players, two training sites, a full year-round calendar, and a larger coaching staff — with more scholars and more pathways at every step. Growth isn’t the goal on its own. It’s what lets more kids in.
What CUFC Stands For
- Community First — CUFC serves the families around it and builds a space where every kid feels welcome.
- Player Development — Steady improvement, every week: better skills, better understanding, better habits.
- Integrity & Sportsmanship — Respect, humility, and pride in every match, win or lose.
- High Standards, Low Barriers — Quality training, kept accessible to more kids, not fewer.
